Fort Carson Religious Support Office (RSO) National Prayer Breakfast and 1 Mile Fun Run

The Fort Carson National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) is a yearly event held on Fort Carson on the first Thursday of February each year. The purpose of the NPB is to bring Soldiers together and celebrate God's blessings through prayer and community. Open to the Fort Carson community.

Fun Run

  • The 1.06 mile fun run will be conducted at Mountain Post Sports Complex from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start to kickoff
  • This is a voluntary participation run
  • All subordinate units are encouraged to attend the fun run. It is permissible to carry flags, guidons, or to wear unit colors. However, the event is a release run and formation type runs are not allowed.

  • Strollers and leashed pets welcome. 

  • Please observe courtesy while running: runners to the left, strollers/walkers to the right.

Prayer Breakfast

  • All seats are now reserved for the prayer breakfast.
  • The Prayer Breakfast will be at the Special Events Center from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. 
  • Attendee must have a valid ticket to enter the breakfast.
  • It is acceptable to travel directly from the run to the breakfast in PT’s
