The Joint Military Adoption Workshop is held annually to help military Families become educated on adoption processes within the United States, international adoption, income tax implications, military policy on adoption, and general information from those who have adopted while in the active duty military.
Families will learn from local experts on the differences between open and closed adoptions, home study process, and domestic vs international adoptions. All military families are welcome regardless of what stage in the adoption process.
This year's adoption workshop is being coordianted through the USAFA Airman & Family Readiness Program.
The event is held at the Armed Service YMCA at 2190 Jetwing Drive.
