Military Saves Kick-Off

Join the Fort Carson Garrison Commander in learning how to save for your future.

Military Saves, a component of the nonprofit America Saves and a partner in the Department of Defense’s Financial Readiness Campaign, seeks to motivate, support, and encourage Military Families to save money, reduce debt, and build wealth.

Each year Fort Carson joins America Saves in this research-based campaign that uses the principles of behavioral economics and social marketing to change behavior. Military Saves encourages all Service members, their Families, and Civilian employees to take the Military Saves pledge and for organizations to promote savings year-round and during Military Saves Week.

At the Fort Carson Kick-Off event the Department of Regulatory Agencies will present information specific to the state of Colorado on how to improve savings habits.

The Armed Forces Bank and Security Service Federal Credit Union will have representatives that explain what offerings these two baking institutions have to make your Military Saves pledge successful.
