Note: This event has already passed.

EFMP will be hosting a sensory activity monthly for you and your kids to enjoy some fun do it yourself activities right from home! Our first Brain Break video will be on April 5th, where will be making an Ocean Sensory Bottle! We will tell you exactly how to make it and what supplies are needed.

Sensory Activities are anything that stimulates the five senses: touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing and anything that includes balance and movement. Often these senses can be overwhelming for some children, specifically those with Autism if they are not shown how to process them. Focusing on stimulation can help children with Autism create a clear path to the brain and help them to focus. Using sensory activities early in a child's life can also help with development of language, motor skills and have a calming effect when they’re feeling agitated.
