Classes are held twice monthly at the ACS Center, Bldg. 1526. Sign up for either the 1st or 3rd Tuesday.

Common Military Training: PCS

 

This mandated financial readiness course is designed to help service members and their families navigate the logistical and financial challenges of a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move by teaching them how to manage a spending plan, maximize special relocation pay and entitlements, and utilize available military support resources

Common Military Training: Marriage

This mandated financial touchpoint course prepares service members to transition into married life by teaching them how to set joint goals, establish priorities, develop a family budget, and effectively organize their finances as a couple

Nurturing Parenting (3 to 12 years)

This 12-week class includes topics of communication with your child, how to build your child’s self-esteem, behavior management techniques and much more.

Toddler Time

Participants interact on topics such as gross motor enhancement through songs and dance, sensory enrichment through arts and crafts, and nurturing the child as well as the parent. Open to parents with toddlers 18 months or above.

Common Military Training: Continuation Pay

This mandatory financial touchpoint course educates service members covered under the Blended Retirement System (BRS) on what Continuation Pay is, how to apply for this mid-career incentive, and how to effectively leverage the payout to meet long-term financial goals

Chat and Walk

Meet at Iron Horse Park for a Chat and Walk from 0900-1000 followed by parent's social and connection at the playground 1000-1030. Please bring hat, sunscreen, snacks, water and appropriate footwear. Weather dependent, recurring Mondays; Spring through first snow fall.
