Enjoy a fun and wild ride through Bighorn Sheep Canyon on the mighty Arkansas River. You will be a key element as your guide calls out commands and steers you through some of Colorado’s most classic rapids. Class II-III Rapids over 10 miles

Raft & Rock Overnight Weekend 8/3-8/4

Raft and Rock is a program designed to bring customers on a two-activity overnight trip that allows them to whitewater raft and rock climb along the Arkansas river.

Enjoy a relaxing ride on the Arkansas River. You will be floating on a calm section of the river. Class I-II rapids. Afterwards, we will be doing some more relaxing at the Mount Princeton Hot Springs before heading back home.

Enjoy an adventure as we camp and climb in the Uncompahgre National Forest. You will experience the deep gorges and high mountains near Ouray, CO as we climb the cliff sides using Via Ferrate techniques.

There are a significant number of options for activities to do in Breckenridge during the summer months. Explore shops and restaurants along the historic main street and ride the free trolley. There is a winery, a distillery and several breweries. Find the Troll (Isak Heartstone).  Epic Discovery Center at peak 8 has a variety of fun adventure activities.

Get on the Bus to see the Leaves Change 9/21, 10/5 $25

Customers will hop on the bus and head to Cripple Creek, CO.

 The Town has a variety of casinos, souvenir shops and museums to checkout while you are here. We should be able to check out Rita the troll as well.

On 10/5 the Fall festival will be running with live music.  will be happening this weekend.

beautiful scenic Phantom Canyon Road. No hill climbing necessary! Phantom Canyon Road is

  • Safety Video is required every 3 years. Vehicle inspection is required every year per vehicle.
  • Travel Trailers must stay in Colorado.
  • While towing travel trailer, speed must not exceed 55 MPH.
  • ODR team will send an email with a link for the safety class and requirements prior to pick up of the travel trailer rental. 
  • Customers cancelling reservations within 72 hours of pick up, will be charged a 1 day rental fee.
  • Customers cancelling reservations will be charged 10% of the deposit.

Boating Equipment
  • Kayaks & Canoes require 2 people to load and unload off the vehicle. Customers are responsible for securing the rental to their vehicle. Padding or tie downs will not be provided.
  • Kayaks & Canoes are not allowed on any river
  • Vehicles must come equipped at time of inspection with:
    • 2” ball
    • Flat 4 electrical connection
    • Top of hitch ball must be between 17’’ - 20’’ from the ground
    • All SUPs, kayaks, & canoe rentals include required safety equipment

Iron Horse Park

Iron Horse Park is officially open daily at sunrise and closed daily at sunset/last light.

  • $50 refundable deposit is required at time of reservation and will be returned if area is cleaned and there is no damage.
  • Softball Fields can be lined for tournament play for an additional $20 a day with at least 1 week notice.
  • The use of glass containers is prohibited. Alcohol, bounce houses, party tents, petting zoos, external grills, signage and food trucks require permitting.
  • Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance.

Warrior Adventure Quest (WAQ)

The Warrior Adventure Quest (WAQ) is a reintegration program to help Soldiers respond to stress and excitement following a major training or deployment. 

Promoting positive adrenaline responses, improving morale and communication, and developing trust and teamwork through adventure-based activities. 

This program is fully funded by the Department of the Army and MWR.

  • Completion of mandatory post activity survey

RV Storage

Fort Carson RV Storage Facilities offer a safe and secure location for privately owned vehicles, recreational vehicles, travel trailers, or utility trailers of all kinds. Spaces are available to authorized patrons. All lots are accessible 24/7.

Next to Outdoor Recreation

Storage spaces are available to Active-Duty Military, Retirees, DOD Civilians with CAC card and Veterans. Active-Duty Military deploying or living on Fort Carson have priority placement. We are only adding 20’ and above to the Active-Duty waitlists due to the huge demand. There is no time frame when spots will become available.

All items stored in the RV Storage lots must have comprehensive insurance on the item to include theft, fire, wind and hail storm damage. If storage space is not available at the time of your inquiry, you may request to be added to the waitlist.
