Why is playgroup important?
For children:
- It provides an environment for social interaction
- Assists in language development and communication
- Provides an opportunity for children to play and learn
- Provides a space for children to participate and enjoy new activities
For adults:
- Gives parents the opportunity to play and interact with their children
- Allows time for parents to share their experiences and support one another
- Provides a routine that allows families to gather
- Provides community spirit and assists social networks
