Note: This event has already passed.

Space is limited to 12 and advance registration is required to attend.  This course is designed to show you the basics in how the site functions as well as how to administer your unit's vFRG site. Recommended attendees include Commanders, Family Readiness Liaisons, Family Readiness Advisors, Family Readiness Group Leaders, and those selected as site administrators.

The virtual Family Readiness Group (vFRG) website, ArmyFRG.org, is a tool that allows commanders to securely communicate directly to Soldiers and family members from anywhere around the world.  vFRG provides all the functionality of a traditional FRG in an on-line setting to meet the needs of both local and geographically dispersed family members.

By establishing a unit vFRG site, Commanders and FRG Leaders can provide information, photos/videos, downloadable files, and more to their Soldiers and the Family Members that support and care for them.

IMCOM intends the R.E.A.L. Foundations class as a pre-requisite to all R.E.A.L. classes. ACS has scheduled the Foundations class immediately preceding this class.

Limited weekday childcare [Tuesday through Thursday 0830-1600 ONLY] is available for children registered with CYS - reservations must be made in advance by calling 719-526-4028.  If your plans change and you will not be attending the course, you must call back to cancel your childcare reservation.

In the case of a two hour delay due to inclement weather, classes will begin no earlier than 0930.  If the roads on Fort Carson are closed, all classes scheduled for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.
