Adventure Programs and Education (APE) offers a broad range of trips and instructional courses that help you explore the beauty of Colorado. Our full-time, certified outdoor professionals can teach you the necessary skills for good decision-making in the great outdoors. The Fort Carson Outdoor Recreation Complex is a multi-use recreation facility with a multitude of amenities and services. Discover your adventurous side with Army Outdoor Recreation (ODR) programs. Get your brand new gear for all kinds of outdoor adventure activities. We are located inside the Outdoor Recreation Complex. We offer name brand merchandise tax-free and below MSRP for all eligible MWR patrons with military ID, (active Duty, military dependents, retired military, reservists, DOD civilian personnel and contractors).

The William Reed Special Events Center is an 8,000 sq./ft. facility that has historically hosted change of command ceremonies, retirements, deployments, redeployments, and more. The Special Events Center is available for reservation to all military units and government organizations. Office visits available by reservation only.
