New Parent Support Program
The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) promotes healthy Families through a variety of services including home visits, support groups, and parenting classes. We help Soldiers and Families learn to cope with stress, isolation, post-deployment reunions, and the everyday demands of parenthood. Army Families who are expecting a child or who have children up to age three can participate in all of our services confidentially and free of charge.

Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs
Adventure Programs and Education (APE) offers a broad range of trips and instructional courses that help you explore the beauty of Colorado. Call to schedule private trips, special group excursions or a custom adventure package. Our full-time, certified outdoor professionals can teach you the necessary skills for good decision-making in the great outdoors. Come talk to our outdoor staff at the Outdoor Recreation Complex and learn more about what adventures the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
Outdoor Recreation Complex
The Fort Carson Outdoor Recreation Complex is a multi-use recreation facility with a multitude of amenities and services. Discover your adventurous side with Army Outdoor Recreation (ODR) programs. Learn new skills, enjoy guided tours, or get the gear you need to explore the great outdoors on your own.

Outdoor Recreation Equipment Checkout Center
We will be taking the following precautions
- Utilizing our walk up window
- Designated 6 ft. spaces on the ground (signage)
- Offering sanitizing spray for customers
- Staff will be using appropriate PPE
- Rental equipment will be sanitized before being placed outside for customer pickup
- Rental equipment will be sanitized outside upon being returned.

Get your brand new gear for all kinds of outdoor adventure activities. We are located inside the Outdoor Recreation Complex. We offer name brand merchandise tax-free and below MSRP for all eligible MWR patrons with military ID, (active Duty, military dependents, retired military, reservists, DOD civilian personnel and contractors).
