KidsFest takes place in the large open field directly behind Ivy Fitness Center, located at:

Ivy Fitness Center 6415 Specker Ave, Fort Carson, CO 80913

The event field sits on the east side of the building, between Specker Ave and the Red Cloud & Kit Carson sports fields. Look for event signage, tents, and the Color Run staging area as you approach.

Parking is available in the Ivy Fitness Center parking lot and surrounding overflow lots.

The Special Events Team develops, coordinates, stages, and manages quality community recreation and entertainment programs to include: fairs, holiday activities, concerts and much more. These programs are designed to improve the quality of life within our community.

Employment Readiness Program (ERP) provides career assistance to Soldiers, Family Members, DoD Civilians, Retirees, and Reservists. Employment Readiness Specialists provide workshops as well as one-on-one appointments to assist with job searching, resumes, interviews, networking, as well as career skills development. ERP maintains partnerships with local and national employers and agencies in order to share job opportunities.

Additional services include:

• Classes on self-assessment, career exploration, civilian and federal resume writing, networking.
• One on one resumé critiques
• Career counseling and individual career assessments
• Job fairs and other hiring events
• Teen/youth employment information
• Computer lab with internet access, résumé-writing software, and typing tutorials 
• Monthly posting of the Job Spotlight

Grant Library is your hometown library and gateway to the world. The library has something for all ages and interests with the latest books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and magazines. Aiming to serve your every need, Grant Library offers 28 public access internet computers and 8 NIPR computers.

Sign up for an intramural sports team and get moving! Team spirit, competition and the fun of the game benefits the body and mind after a long day of sitting in the office. Emphasis is placed on mass participation at the intramural level with instruction, practice, and competition planned for all skill levels. Individuals ages 18 and older with DOD-issued ID are eligible to participate.
