From I-25, take CO-115 south, make a left on Wilderness Road OUTSIDE Gate 6 and enter via the road on the right. This takes you directly to the campground, across from the water tower.

Nelson Indoor Pool is the gold standard for aquatics facilities on Fort Carson.

The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) promotes healthy Families through a variety of services including home visits, support groups, and parenting classes. We help Soldiers and Families learn to cope with stress, isolation, post-deployment reunions, and the everyday demands of parenthood. Army Families who are expecting a child or who have children up to age three can participate in all of our services confidentially and free of charge.

Adventure Programs and Education (APE) offers a broad range of trips and instructional courses that help you explore the beauty of Colorado. Call to schedule private trips, special group excursions or a custom adventure package. Our full-time, certified outdoor professionals can teach you the necessary skills for good decision-making in the great outdoors.
