Sexual Harassment / Assault Response & Prevention (SHARP)

Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment are incompatible with the Army Values and the Warrior Ethos

The Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program, known as SHARP, exists so the Army can prevent sexual harassment and sexual assaults before they occur. The following classes are available:

Prevention 101 (1 hr): Defines primary prevention for Service Members. Enables unit members to identify their own risk and protective factors and identify when a battle buddy or subordinate Soldier may need helping resources. Call to Action: End Sexual Assault.

Creating Healthy Relationships (1.5 hrs): Communicating boundaries and being respectful of others’ boundaries are the keys to building trust and promoting healthy relationships. This training describes healthy/unhealthy relationships and defines different communication styles with your coworkers, friends, family, and romantic partners. Soldiers will learn about the different types of abuse and discuss the cycle of violence.

Recognizing the Behaviors of Sexual Predators: Grooming Behaviors (1 hr): Educate Soldiers on the stages and tactics of grooming behaviors of sexual predators; enables everyone (the target Soldier and leaders) to recognize warning signs to protect themselves and their Soldiers from sexual predators.

Reach out to the SHARP Program Prevention Specialist at +1(520)714-8326 to schedule a prevention class today.  Examples include:
