Helping You Feel at Home in a New Place

Moving to a new country – or even a new part of the U.S. – can be exciting…but also challenging. The Relocation Readiness Program offers Language and Cultural Support to help Soldiers, Families, and DoW Civilians adjust to their new surroundings.

Woman taking a class

If English is not your first language, we can help with:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
  • Help understanding community norms and customs
  • Referrals to translation or interpretation services
  • Support with daily tasks like shopping, transportation, or appointments

We also offer welcome sessions for spouses who are new to Army life or American culture. These sessions can help you feel more confident, make friends, and learn how to get involved in your community.
